“Look adversity in the face and see it as an opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.”
– Renee J. Breazeale
Renee Breazeale often jokes she went from trailer park to country club, and it only took her 50 years to do it. If being a woman determined to build a multimillion-dollar business in a male-dominated industry wasn’t enough of a challenge, Renee found her faith being put to the ultimate test on many fronts. From living out of a suitcase, domestic violence, and chauvinism to a broken back and a brain tumor while being a single mom of two daughters, each adversity helped her realize lessons to soar in any given moment that life threw at her. In 2019, she sold her company for millions as one of the largest woman-owned industrial companies in the Southeast. Soaring through Adversity was written to be a source of empowerment, insights, and inspiration to those leading change, businesses, departments, or impassioned causes where the odds appear to be stacked against them, but only if they lose faith.
